Re: jerking motion?

Hi, DJC - check out some other posts -- 'Chugging / Bucking Cavalier' with my input and some others, "99 Chevy Cavalier Problems I'm Lost," and "96-98 Cavs seem to have the same problem." Are your problems similar to these? In my last post under "Chugging / Bucking Cavalier" - I am asking if this may be a safety issue since we have so many posts around this problem and views of our posts are really high (mine has had 228 views!). So ... should Chevy consider a recall of these cars since so many people are experiencing it and ace mechanics cannot figure out the problem?!?!? Anyway - wanted to see if yours was similar. Cathie

Re: jerking motion?

WYG ... I'm car illiterate. Do you mean catalytic converter? If so, would an issue with that show up on the diagnostics or not? And it I ask my mechanic to check this out, am I looking at an additional big expense? Thanks for your expert advice! Cathie
