2003 Cadillac De Ville Sedan FOR A REAL CHEEP PRICE
I have a chance to buy the below Cadillac from a dealer who handles damage cars only. The damage to this car is passagers side back door and drivers side front 1/4 PANEL. The price is $6500 the car has around 8456 miles only. I would need to get a idea what it could cost in a ball park figure to repair this car. Also do you think it is worth it.

Re: 2003 Cadillac De Ville Sedan FOR A REAL CHEEP PRICE
This vehicle has inner structure damage to the center pillar. 2 used doors are usually about 900-1000 each, 1/4 panel and rear lock pillar look like they need to be replaced, these are new only, possible tire and wheel , look flat in pics, more to this than meets the eye, I would say this could be 10k-12k damage, NYS prices, plus what I can't see. BTW, NADA retail is about 19k, I would rather spend a couple of thousand more for a virgin car.

I agree. It's not worth it unless you are in the bodywork trade and have the expertise and equipment to fix these. Otherwise, you will lose money fixing it.
Wrecks like these are almost always sold to bodyshops so they have a money-earning project to do when they have no customer's vehicles lined up. |

Re: 2003 Cadillac De Ville Sedan FOR A REAL CHEEP PRICE
Not only will you probably spend as much to fix it if not more than if you bought a straight one but more than likely the car will carry a salvage title which will bring the value down. Like the others said, if YOU can fix it yourself then go for it, if not, let it go.
