Dont want a blown engine.Help.
I have a JDM D15B in a 1991 Honda Civic Dx ED6, and i'm planning on installing a turbo assembly (turbo,air filter,BOV,injectors,etc.).
What is a good idea or somethings I should do to my engine internals before installing the turbo, so i wont blow my engine? |

Re: Dont want a blown engine.Help.
build it...pistons and rods would be a vary good idea.rods from a Z6(92-95 ex si motor) will work.so any aftermarket rods for a z6 should work
Bore (mm): 75 Stroke (mm): 84.5 pistons... 27.7 compression height... hope it helps

Re: Dont want a blown engine.Help.
ls rods and vitara pistons. cheap and strong.
replace all bottom end bearings. bascially if you want it to handle a lot of boost its a full rebuild with whatever aftermarket parts you want.
