Re: First ever, Porsche 911
Looks like a good start, better than my first completed model! It was a complete nightmare, yet I still display it in my cabinet
Welcome to AF!

Welcome to AF! Well this is the place to be if you are going get into building pastic model cars, Good effort on your first model! Your skills will get better especially if you frequent this forum. There are a lot of very talented modelers here, some are absolutely insane (i mean that as a compliment) hehe.
Just keep at it and never be afraid to ask for critisism, everyone is here to help, encourage and inspire... Hope to see more of your work in the Future. |

Re: First ever, Porsche 911
agreed with all the above comments!
you ve chosen not the best model, the italeri-revell porsche to start with. Should you go for another one, get a tamiya, it'll br a good investment and it'll look even better! good start tho! oli |

Re: First ever, Porsche 911
Welcome to AF. For your first model, better than mine.
Now go ahead and dig yourself through the How-to?-threads to get into heavy and shiny paint jobs. We all want to improve, donŽt we ?

Re: First ever, Porsche 911
Work on the body and paint job with sanding paper, primer, spraycan- oder airbrushpaint, compounds and wax. Just check the How-to of a paint job. This will increase the overall appearance of the next model and will be an incredible step forward, youŽll be proud of.
