Question Grand Cherokee WJ Cat Back exhaust?

I just recently bought a 2000 Grand Cherokee limited, with the 4.7L V8. I just added a 2" BB lift kit and new Tires. Now I am looking to upgrade the exhaust. I was wondering if anyone had any advise as what brand is the best bang for the buck? I would like to find a single cat back system, or atleast a descent muffler that gives good performance aswell as sound and I don't have to give my left arm for. Anyone have a cat back system on a WJ? If so what do you think? Thanks for your time.

Re: Grand Cherokee WJ Cat Back exhaust?

Flowmaster has full and catback systems. I have a 40 series on my '96 and it sounds, in my opinion, pretty good. The 40 series is a deep powerful sound. The 50 series SUV is not bad either, but its more of a mellow sound. What you could do is from the cat just put on a muffler thats 1 in 2 out and have duals going back, a guy i know did that and it sounded pretty nice on his, which was an I6, it would sound better with a V8.

I had dual exhaust pipes custom made for my 94 5.2 and am very happy with it.

I heard that you can't do duals on the WJ, is that true?
