What are the easiest engine swaps?

I am going to do a swap eventually but I am a do it yourself guy and don't like anyone fucking up my stuff but me. So what engine swap is easy to do? I am very good at mechanical stuff but knowing about wiring I don't know too much about that stuff. I heard ZC is very easy to do and is like a straight drop in. I think it is harder than that but what is easy to do?

The b16 cable type is farily easy if you get the motormount kit.
same goes for the b18 with the motor mount kit

Is B16 easy? I thought it would be hard for some reason. Why has ZC dropped off the face of the earth, all these engine sites no longer have them!

i did a d16y8.it went right in. for some reason people think that swap is really spendy. you can go the cheap route and all you need is the engine and rpm activated switch. i got my engine for $500. so it would have cost the same as a ZC, except for my d16y8 didn't need to be rebuilt (as they suggest you do with a ZC)

I cant say how easy / not easy it was to do the SOHC ZC swap seeing as it was already in the car, but the owner of the car before me was a poor guy, so it couldnt have been too expensive

Do you think DOHC ZC or SOHC VTEC D16 is better? I heard ZC is unreliable.

ya the zc can be very unreiable or very good.... i mean they are a shady motor, personally i'd go y8, but if your really afraid of wires like i am, ZC!

go the rpm activated switch route and there is only a couple of wires. go the p28 ecu route, and just get a wiring harness instead of rewiring 50 wires. it's as easy as the ZC. i was stressing before the swap was done...thinking "what did i get myself into". but after it was done i realized it was basically out with the old engine and in with the new.
