Question about putting a turbo in an 02 Oz

How many miles does a car have to have for it to be a bad idea to put a turbo in a car? More specifically an 02 Oz Lancer. There's gotta be a point where putting a turbo in it at a certain amount of miles where the turbo could possibly ruin the engine, does anybody have an estimate of the amount of miles the 02 lancer would be at for me not to throw in a turbo?

Re: Question about putting a turbo in an 02 Oz

there's no set of miles. If the car has good compression and clean inards, there's no real difference between it and a brand new engine. However, virtualy no engines who have gone 200k mi. without being rebuilt have this, but it of course can happen at less mileage.
