'65 Impala wheel offset?

I posted this in the Impala forum with no response so I figure I would try it here.

I was looking to buy some aftermarket wheels for my '65 Impala but I can't find what the wheel offest is for the car. Its in storage right now or I'd take a wheel off and figure it out myself.

Any help would be great or I'll just have to wait until I take a wheel off and measure it. Thanks

Re: '65 Impala wheel offset?

As I recall, the original equipment 5 1/2 x 15 steel wheels on my '64 Corvette had a 1/2" positive offset (outboard from the hub). Since the car has drum brakes like your Impala, I bet your 14" wheels had a similar offset.
