90 to older block swap
Ive got a 90 1500 5.0 tbi and a nice, old 350 thats ready to run and i was wondering if anyone has performed the swap and knows what im getting myself into. The 350 is set up with edlebrock hi-performer, is it possible to get a conversion plate to keep the original throttle body and current intake?

Re: 90 to older block swap
No it is not possible to keep the carburated intake and use the TBI. I am doing the same sort of swap and I am using a carb. I am doing away with the electronic advance distributor and using a non computer hei vacuum adv. dist. I would just put the carb on it, or swap the 305 heads and intake onto the 350.
