2002 Silverado Ext. Cab, 4x4, 5.3L rear brake pads

When I change the rear brake pads, do I simply push the caliper piston back
in or will I need to push and turn to get it to seat?
Thank You

before you take apart your calipers.......take a 'c' clamp, and decompress the brake pads, that should give you enough space to put the caliper back on........ just watch your brake fluid for overfill....

Really should open the bleeders too, to avoid pushing any contaminated fluid back into the abs unit.
