about to buy a 2000

am about to buy a 2000 sedan with 86k miles. Drove it yesterday and it ran great...the AC not cooling its best, my guess is low on R134 and when shifting between reverse and drive I feel the typical thump, like a bad mount. Anything else I should be in lookout for?

Re: about to buy a 2000

Well congrads on the purchase. At 86k you may encounter some typical problems, such as the timing chain mentioned above me. Any time you buy a car, I recommend changing the oil immediately, unless you know without a doubt it was changed very recently.

Re: about to buy a 2000

replace the timing chain before it breaks, if you let it break it can, and most likely will cause valve damage
