RPM question
Hey guys, I noticed last couple of weeks here while driving to class that my rpm's seem kinda high. When i'm going 70 my rpm's are 3500. I've been averaging about 23 MPG. I drive about 250-300 miles a week and 50-75% of that is highway. Now the rpm's do go down around about 32-3300 but only if I keep my foot really still. That leads me to my other question. I know my car has OD in it but for some reason the slightest movement of my foot kicks it back down and I have to keep my foot really still before it goes back into OD. Is there some sort of sensor (like a speed sensor) or something going out? Any help is greatlly appreciated and thanks in advance...
