Can anybody give me some advice on the air bag system on the 2000 Ford Expedition. Here's the problem, rear air bags completely deflated, compresser not kicking on, no warning light on dash. Ford had fixed this problem before about 3 years ago, but did not tell me what they exactly did to fix the problem. Now the warranty has expired and now it's my problem, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
2000 expedition 5.4 liter 2wdrv rear air bags Thank you, Jeff. |

Re: Air Suspension Problems
If the pump is not working it is one of three things, the pump itself, the pump relay directly underneath the pump accessed from under the vehicle, it is black and grey and has fins on it bolted to the frame directly in front of the passenger front tire. or the fuses either under the hood or in the vehicle. Check all your fuses first. The reason the bags are sagging is prob cause they are old but if the pump is inop the bags are fine for now at least. My friends just did this. It was the pump. The pump online is about 150 and can be installed by you. It is very easy.
