Never heard wipe primer before, if it was me I would wait and get the spray primer.

I would wait for a spraying primer... I had some experience with shopkeepers giving stupid suggestions, so don't immediately assume the shop guy is right!

I use them 2 ways.

1: I use them in an airbrush.

2: I brush them on to fill small pits and imperfections. also i brush them anto seams and mold lines in the early stages of body prep.

I thank Rally Raider for these tips, great stuff but i cant say brushing an entire body would be a good idea.

No its just Gunze primer in the jar. I meant i use it 2 different ways. airbrushed for whole bodies and parts or brush it on to fix and prep parts.

PS Gionc.... my scanner is down so it might be a few days before i send you that World Challenge article.

KYO: yes, if you dont have an airbrush, both are handy, Tamiya spray for bodies and whole parts, jar stuff for spot touch up and prep.

Id like to think im making sense here!?!

Re: whipe on primers vs spray on primers

Okay so it sounds like you are talking about just a bottle of primer. In that case get it, an airbrush, a compressor and you are in business.
