I've just started this old revellkit.

I assembled the chassis of the dragster wich is a "little" twisted

Now i'm lookin' for reference material of those cars.
Is there someone who know where i can find pics of the original cars?

Re: Tony Nancy's 22JR roadster/ dragster

I got that a couple years ago, it's a cool set of kits. Definitely have to do some fiddling to get it all to fit together, but I bet they will look cool.

I have some pics of built up models but not any of the real cars.

Re: Tony Nancy's 22JR roadster/ dragster

I'm trying to get the chassis straight , which is a hell of a job.
It's twisted about 4mm and i've got it almost straight now ( i hope)
I didn't have much time to to something today, because they broke in to my car and stole my stereo. So i've seen the garage and the policeoffice.
More on the dragster is coming tomorrow ( i hope )

Re: Tony Nancy's 22JR roadster/ dragster

The chassis is almost straight now.
I test fitted it into the body, and when its glued i think it will be straight enough.

Here a picture of the dry-fit.

Now it painting time for the chassis and sandingtime for the body.
I also painted the blower and crabs black so they can wait till it's getting a little warmer weather ( it's -3 celcius at this moment in the Netherlands). So this part can be sprayed alclad chrome.

Re: Tony Nancy's 22JR roadster/ dragster

Hello all.
After some problems with the fitting of parts, I've come to a point to say: "the roadster will not been build!!!" . The fitting of the parts is so poor and bad.

The dragster is almost finished.
The upper body is ready to be sprayed clear

The underpart of the body is almost finished ( one wheel left to do )

The red shine on the blower intake is of my coat wich is hanging beside.

Re: Tony Nancy's 22JR roadster/ dragster

Since last month i've finished this one.
I'm Not gonna build the roadster cause of the very poor fittings of this kit.

Maybe i will put this one in a old petrolstation as a lost racer.

Re: Tony Nancy's 22JR roadster/ dragster

this really turned out great. now I want this kit more then ever. too bad about the fit problems with the roadster, they would look good sitting side by side. keep up the good work!
