Re: Feul Pump
Are you sure the pump is bad? 3 months ago, my 99 Stratus stopped working while driving and after being seen by a local auto mechanic <Napa>, they stated the fuel pump was out and needed replacing. After having my car towed to Goodyear where I have a account, come to find out my gas gauge stopped working correctly and I had actually ran out of gas. My $500.00 problem only costed me a full tank of gas, I just keep track of milage since I never know how much gas I really have. 3 months later, my gas gauge just stays on full when actually its empty. Guess the float is stuck. I'm just happy to haved a 2nd mechanic take a look at it. <Never run out of gas in front of a Napa Repair Center, could cost you hundreds>
