4x4 front end part name

It's a 1991 jimmy 4x4. The part is on the front differential where the vacuum cable locks in the front end. It's electric and is rusted off at the plug in.. My 4x4 is not working and I guess it's the problem

I believe you are refering to the indicator switch that operates the lights to let you know the 4 wheel drive is ingaged. The mounting arm commonly rots off and is easily found to replace. Hope this helps
