Question Some Weird Prob With My 1992 Firebird--HELP

I need some assistance in trouble shooting this problem that I am having with my bird.. It is a 1992 3.1 v6, with approx 30k on it.. Since I got the car, i installed a k&n filter, gave it a full tune up, changed the oil and trans fluid ( used amsoil synthetic ), new fuel filter, new idle control valve and new map sensor.. Here is the problem: It does not happen all the time, so thats what is confusing.. Some mornings, most of them, when I start out out the driveway it seems like the car is hesitating ( seems like it is struggling to go.. Have to push down the gas alot more than usual to make the car move.. Also sometimes while sitting for minutes upon end at a stop light it happens as well.. For most of the time the car runs quick, for the little 3.1...

Could it possibly be that charcoal canister or the MAF sensor causing the problem ??

PLEASE HELP ME FIX THE PROBLEM.. THIS FIREBIRD IS MINT INSIDE AND OUT, BUT FEELS LIKE IT NEEDS SOMETHING FIXED OR ADJUSTED !!

NOTE: I read in a Haynes repair manual on the 1982-1992 firebird and for some dumb reason it said to change the timing chain & the gear at 25K.. Makes no sence ??
