2000 Isuzu Gas Milage
Just wondering what kind of gas milage is considered normal for a 2000 Trooper 3.5L V6. I just got the truck used and it was getting 13mpg which needless to say is horrendous.
I added Cheveron Techron Concentrate to the tank and filled up with Super. I also changed the air filter and now seem to be getting 16 to the gallon (hwy miles). I'm wondering how that rates compared to other fellow troopers? Angelo |

Re: 2000 Isuzu Gas Milage
at this time of year due to winter gas, 13-17 is about right. In the summer you can expect 15-19.

Re: 2000 Isuzu Gas Milage
Mid to high teen MPG's is about the best you will do with a 1998-2002 trooper. I can get 20mpg with my 2002 rodeo, but it is usually under 19mpg. Consistant <15mpg on a 100% stock tooper or rodeo means you've got something going on.
