Dode Avenger

Hey im just shopping through my options of what i can buy cause i need something that i can relay on and doesnt need tons of fixing and i can trust it. I found a 98 Dodge Avenger with a 114,500 miles on it, manuel. It goes for about 3000 dollars so i was wondering do people like there Dodge avenger or are there alot of problems with these cars? I was also wondering if 3000 dollars seems like a resonable price to buy these types of cars? I appreciate any help. Thnaks

Re: Dode Avenger

4cyl model is better for modding if that has any weight with you, since the v6 doesnt come in manual thats obviously what your lookin at. you might want to drive it and make sure the tranny is ok, those cars can have problems with that, there can also be head gasket problems, but in general they are pretty reliable.

Re: Dode Avenger

I loved my dodge avenger. It was a 98 ES V6 auto. The tranny went out but other then that I had absolutely no problems with it but it did have only 56,000 miles on it. I just recently sold it for $7,000 at 61,000 miles.

Yeah I kinda did but the car had a lot of upgrades and was in like new condition. I had taken very good care of it and was the 2nd owner. I had so many new aftermarket parts into that thing. I traded it off for a twin turbo stealth which was more to my liking.

Re: Dode Avenger

If you're interested, I've got a '99 Avenger for sale. 2.5, V6, auto, with 55k miles in it. Light hit in front, needs a bumper cover and hood. Great cadidate for a body kit... Located in central Ohio, and I'm asking $2k for it. It runs and drives great......
