Stock engine on a 90 dx need to know what cluth to buy
Hi, i'm fixing a 90 civic dx hatch with a friend and hew need sto buy a cluthc for it he wanted to know if it's the 5 speed or 4 speed that he soohuld buy. I think that Reverse is considered a speed is'nt it ? so it sohuld be a 5 speed ?

no, reverse is not a speed. it is how many gears it has in in forward.

I bet hes got an STD,4 spd,
if you need a clutch,for the STD 4 spd, go with a stock clutch from ebay! sort of like "exedy" its only like 95.00$ & your not gonna find a cheaper clutch then that! I bought a exedy clutch from ebay about 4 years ago,used it for a year & ended up changing motors so I still have it,(but not getting rid of it) gl
