Help with remote starter
I recently installed a prostart remote starter in my 96 S10 and when the truck is started with by the remote starter acceleration is sluggish and it now won't shift into overdrive, but when the truck is started normally with the key everything works properly. I was just wondering if I have done something wrong or any other suggestions as to why this might have happened.

Re: Help with remote starter
I had the same issue with my Viper remote start, it does a Second gear start for some reason. I've never noticed it not going into O/D though. my only resolution was disabling it. keep us posted if you figure out whats up with that wiring.

Re: Help with remote starter
I found the problem. I had to wire the ignition wire for the remote starter to both ignition wires at the harness. 1 pink and 1 pink with white stripe.
