Wheel Bearings

This is probably a dumb question, but since I don't have my Haynes manual with me at work, can anyone tell me how tough it is to replace the front wheel bearings on my 95 Formula? Viewing the part online, it looks like you have to buy the whole spindle and it just bolts on, but with my luck there is more to it. Also will this affect my alignment? Please advise ASAP. Thanx.

Re: Wheel Bearings

1995. I changed the front brake pads and rotors yesterday that were worn out, and the problem is still there (squeek/grinding sound with every revolution of the left front wheel), so I figure it has to be the wheel bearing. It's worse in turns.

Re: Wheel Bearings

Prettys ure its a complete assembly that year...thats why its so expensive. If its cheap, usually it means its a regular wheel bearing that can be repacked...

Re: Wheel Bearings

Well, i picked up a pair. Thank god for aftermarket parts, GM wanted $305 a piece, $99 each at Advance Auto parts. Now if I can just make it home 30 miles to my tools...
