Where do I get a new chip for my 1996 buick riv

I Found One On Ebay Once, it was some private dealer sellinig on ebay. It didnt look to trusting, it was a custom chip, and was selling for about 200 dollars. I can probably dig up the website if you want

1996 Riviera is OBD11 and does not have a "chip"! You have to reflash the PCM.

what is reflash the pcm and how do I do it?

You would need to send your PCM to a tuner or do a trade. You have to have the correct GM compatiable software to make changes. Some offer handheld tuners with the program loaded, so all you have to do is hook it up and download. The problem is, you may not find one for a 96 Riv due to the lack of demand. You might want to check out Superchips.com to learn a little more about how it is done.
