1994 Ranger Vibration On Take Off?? HELP!
I have a 1994 Ranger 4X2 with an automatic 4.0 liter. Here is the problem, I have a vibration on take off, only when you are turning. I have no vibration when taking off from a dead stop going strait, but only when your turning one direction. This is a heavy vibration, and I'm lost as to where to start. Any Ideas??? Thanks in advance!

Re: 1994 Ranger Vibration On Take Off?? HELP!
Do you have to be taking off from a dead stop for this to happen, or will it do it anytime you are driving slowly and turn? Can you tell what area the vibration is felt; rear, front, right, left, in the steering wheel, or maybe on the floorboard? Does it vibrate on left turns, right turns, or both? I would check all the lugnuts make sure they are all tight to start with. I would also look at the tires, a broken belt will cause a vibration, it wouldn't be that bad at slow speeds though. Other than that look for anything obviously loose.

If you have a limited slip rear end, try changing the fluid and adding the proper friction modifier.

Is there a clearance problem (tire to frame, fender or bumper) on the side in question ?
