3.3 v6 makin a clicking noise
my grand am has a 3.3 and the motor has a clicking sound coming from the top somewhere i think that it has something to do with the injectors but may be something else..... also sometimes it has a rough idle ......if anyone has any ideas please let me know thanx!!!!

The clicking sound you're hearing is probably valve rattle. You may have some worn rockers, fulcrums, lifters, etc. They also could be slightly loose. You'll have to remove the valve covers and check them.

the injectors on ga's click alot and are very loud for an injector. But if its a louder taping sound it could be a lifter or two sticking. Or if you are low on oil it'll tap more than norm.

ok thanx and how can i tell if a rocker arm is loose i know that they are supposed to move a lil but how can i tell
