Coolant Level Low?
For awhile now, when I start from cold, the DIC gives me a coolant level low warning. I've regularly checked the level, but it's fine. I figured I'd just replace the sensor, but I can't seem to find a part number. Any ideas?
Also, everytime I put a fuse into the slot for the interior lights, it lasts a varrying time and then blows. Any ideas for fixing this? |

Re: Coolant Level Low?
Pull the connector from the Coolant Level Switch ( bottom of surge tank). Connect a jumper wire between the 2 connector pins. This will simulate a full coolant tank.
Can't help you with P/N, but you can at least verify the switch is the problem. Fuse problem could be a lot of things, are you using the proper rated fuse. |

Re: Coolant Level Low?
I used the extra fuses that came with the car. It's strange. It started lasting 3 weeks, then 2, then like 4 days, and now it pops instantly.

Re: Coolant Level Low?
I would at least start by taking out the bulbs, & seeing if the fuse still blows.
While your taking out the bulbs, check for pinched wiring. |

Re: Coolant Level Low?
Did you get the car scanned to see if there are any trouble codes? Autozone or Advance auto(and some others) should do it for free. I would call them first to see it they offer this service.
