1996 Z28 Will Not Start When Wet

I have a question? I have just aquired a 96 Camaro Z28 for nada from a buddy due to its starting problems. The car has the 5.7 350 LT1 with a six speed. Every time it is dry out the car will start but when there is just a little amount of condensation the car just cranks and cranks. If someone has expirienced this please let me know. Thanks

Could be if his doesn't have a good seal and it only happens after it was driven prior to it not starting in a wet condition or he has a ram air style hood that is dumping rain water onto his opti.
