99 Voyager (3.3) Door Ajar light/beeping noise

Today is the first time it happened like this. I got in my van and proceeded to go down the road and when I hit 15mph the doors tried to lock but couldnt because it said door ajar. I got out, opened all the doors even though none were ajar, and shut them. Got back in (left van running) and it was fine. Got home, went to leave again several hours later and I start the van, now night time, interior lights will not go off because it thinks a door is ajar, I could turn them off manually but when I hit 15mph it would try to lock and couldnt. (Do you know how annoying that is?? *click click boing, click click boing* . All doors are shut good, what can i do to fix the problem?

Rachel

probablly one of your door sensors are dead. try disconnecting the connector to each of the door sensors one by one untill the lights to off

I have a similar issue with my 1999 Grand Caravan. It appears to be the passenger door. How do I disconnect the connector to the door sensor? One part appears to be on the door pillar with two silver plates. The other on the door itself with two sliding "pistons". This is an incredibly annoying problem.

Thanks in advance for your help!
