Georgia Emissions
I'm going to be moving about 1.5 hours outside of Atlanta. Right now where i'm living we don't have any kind of emissions testing so i'm running a catless turbo setup. Does anyone know if this area has emissions testing, and if so how strict are they?? also, does Georgia have strict laws against exhaust noise??

Re: Georgia Emissions
the answer to both your questions is yes. There are emission laws here that require you to have a cat or you won't pass and there are exhaust noise laws but they arent too strict. I think its if your exhaust exceeds more the 110db at 5000 rpms you pay a ticket or some bullshit like that. my friend got a ticket for it in savanah for his 3000gt. you probably wont get a ticket for it though unless you do somethin stupid and its added on to your charges. but you definatley wont pass emissions unless you have a cat. if you are obd1 you might be abel to find a place that can "pass" u but goodluck with that.

Re: Georgia Emissions
depends on where you are moving to , i live about 15mins from athens and about hour from Atl. and there is no emissions test required around my area , the closer you get to Atl. the more counties have emissions testing and as far as the noise goes all depends on the cops in the area , so are real dicks when it comes to the exhaust noise and others dont care unless its REALLY loud
