i have a 95 blazer 4.3 vortec engine it wouldnt start so i put in a new starter motor and a new battery i removed the plugs to see if it would turn over and still nothing i tried to turn it over manually with no luck so i am out of ideas please help

Did you check the oil? Was it full? Did it appear to have any metal shavings in it? Did it overheat the last time you drove it?
If you can't turn it over by hand, and it isn't hydrolocked (which I wouldn't think it is since it won't turn with the plugs out), I can't think of much else except to pull the engine and rebuild/replace. Sometimes on smaller engines, such as outboard/snowmobiles, etc, they can be "unseized" by pulling the plugs and pouring a lightweight oil (Liquid Wrench or something like that) into the cylinder. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didnt. Half the time if you could break it loose, the rings were shot anyways. |
