88-89 and 90-91 seats the same?!

Can anyone actually confirm this for sure?! I usually refrain from asking dumb questions on here but I need someone to back me up. Today I went the the junk yard and got some 90 Si seats, the passenger side is mint and the drivers side has the usual wear. $75cdn. for the pair though!

SO, my car's parked and I can't get at it until the spring, so can someone confirm that these seats will fit please?

I have a friend with an 88 and we went to the junk yard and got seats out of a 1990 thinking they would fit. We got home to put them in and they didn't fit....the brackets did not match up with the holes on the floor...we just drilled our own holes....lol

Ya, been there. I had 89 CRX seats and they weren't even close. Right now I have 92 Si seats and I had to get brackets fabed with one hole drilled in the damn floor. I don't really trust the brackets though and I've always wanted Si seats. I just want to make sure that I can go back to the stock mounting points, no more gobbled up seat mounting.

i've got 90 si seats in my 88 and they bolted right up. I've heard people say that its not possible but mabey thats just on american civics. im in canada also.

The thing is that there are 2 versions of the civic Body. My friend has the same year civic 89. The only thing thats different is that he had the lux model(1,3) an i had the 1,4.....the JDM stile rear lights dident bolt right up and so dident hes seats that looked like a the crx seats without the "crx" sign

88-89 are the same bracket, 90-91 is the same
differences between sedan, CRX and hatch tho
