Arrow '91 cutlass ciera 3.3L- Won't Drive When Cold- Please Help!

I have an oldsmobile cutlass cierra '91 3.3L and in just the past 6 months I had a solenoid replaced in the transmission. Shortly after cold mornings began with the winter season it would start just fine but three different situations seem to happen randomly.

-First being that I could drive off but once I stopped and started to accelerate it would act as though it was not getting enough power (low idle) and would die unless I accelerated extreemly slow.
-Second it will sometimes be ok in reverse but then once I put into drive it will act as if not enough power once again(lights will dim for a second) then it will die.
-Third and most frequent state is that it will die if I just put it in reverse or drive without even moving (just by shifting into gear).

During any of these situations the temp meter is at 100 and takes forever to heat above 100(~10 minutes idleing). If I let the car warm up for 10 minutes it will be above 100 and the car runs perfectly fine. After it warms up and it is barely above 100, I drive it and the temp shoots up to half way(220) much faster than normal. There are no "idiot" lights or anything when any of this happens.

-To try to fix it I replaced the thermostat and IAC but no change.
Any recommendations and help would be appreciated. Thank You.
