Unhappy Head lights stay on/change it?

My head lights stay on as posted beforebut would like to change it? I dont like this option for the golf, maybe newer golfs with daytime running lights, but not the older ones. Change the switch so my cluster lights will work as well or change realy??

Re: Headlights Stay On!!!

i was told that the golf''s have this feature. When you have your indicator lights on and you switch off the car, the headlight will come on depending on the side you switche the indicator on.

Re: Headlights Stay On!!!

It's a safety feature on golfs. One of the larger relays disables it. It's not a mechanical flaw or anything just an added feature.
