Clean the throttle body and maf sensor. Check the pvc valve and check your hoses that are on your throttle body or around that area for leaks. This is a start. Oh, and check the computer for any codes that it might have stored.

Re: almost got the problem solved just need a little help

You probably already had the codes stored in the computer before you cleaned it. Code 22 means the throtle position sensor voltage is low. You need to replace it and when you do, you have to adjust it. Did you clean the maf sensor (you clean it by spraying throtle body cleaner on the "2 wires" on the bottom of it)?

the sensor moves with the throttle body. so when you jam down the gas, the a lever pushes a bar, turning the sensor.

Re: almost got the problem solved just need a little help

plugs and wires are about 3 months old coil pack is about 4 months old has new maf 2months old also new pcv valve the car is still jerking and stalling on me no codes for it either. could it be that sensor under the throttle body thats like a coolant temp sensor or should i rule that out and go change my valve covers ( the front one hte nub for the oil cap is stripped and it doesnt stay in firm and when i pull out the oil fill cap it gives it a really rough idle so i figure im loosing pressure somewhere any places i should start checking??

thanks
