Re: Mods!

Tell ya what. I've done every single bolt on there is. Twice. Gone into the motor. Replaced motor. Spent countless $$$ and time/spilled blood in the name of the cause. 472 rwhp/439 rwtq. NA is the result.

I swear, if I had it to do over(in an automatic car).... an exhaust, a converter, a gear, tires, an inline pump, AND a TNT 150 wet hit and call it DONE.

Re: Mods!

Nitrous might be the way to go for a big horsepower increase, remember that its the stock internals so I wouldn't go past 100hp on them.

150 with a good tune.
I know a guy running 5 PSI and a 75 shot on a stock motor. Large cam as well. Getting close to the limit though...if the tune was bad it would have blown up already.

Don't get a nitrous kit that costs $550.
The best cheaper kit for an LS1 car is the ZEX kit as far as I know. Not a nitrous guy myself...never even considered it until recently. Even then...only because this new motor would LOVE it.
