warning lights... help

i got the ABS and "check tire press" lights on, i looked it up and both on at the same time means my tire pressure system isn't working or somthin. What's goin on and what needs to be done?

Mods: Thrasher CAI, 3.4 pulley, straight pipe (res and u-bend delete), ZZP PCM, Colder plugs, new wires, 180 t-stat.

Generally it means that you have either a low voltage condition, low tire or a bad wheel sensor. Unfortunately, the wheel sensor is part of the hub assembly and they are not inexpensive to purchase. I would take it to a mechanic that has an ABS capable scanner to scan the system to find out what is going on. I believe you have a bad wheel sensor.

sorry about the bad news, but I agree with GTPDad, it's most likely a bad hub. You'll need an ABS capable scanner to narrow down which one is bad.

As long as the the bearing isn't causing a vibration, or making a grinding/humming noise, it's safe to drive. Just be sure to adust your driving habits for bad weather conditions, as your ABS will be inoperative.
