cant get window down

I've had my 97 gs eclipse for a while now and have never been able to get the passenger window down. we have tried replacing the motor and the switch and neither work. all wires are connected but neither side gets it to work although the drivers side works fine. any ideas as to what it could be?

Re: cant get window down

Have you checked the voltage at the motor, and the switch? Fuses etc.? If no power, then no worky.

Re: cant get window down

So get a multi-meter and check for power yourself at the motor and switch. Maybe you have a burned wire somewhere. Go buy a repair manual too, they have wiring diagrams and troubleshooting guides in them.
