High Pitch Buzzing sound??

ever since i got my car (98 Trans Am) when i turn it on theres a high pitch buzzing sound coming from the driver side engine bay, and i cant seem to locate it exactly, i had my car since july of last year..and it hasnt been causing any problems that i know of, but i was just curious is that normal and what may it be...

does it increase as you speed up? and does it sound like it might be commin from the speakers? if so it is your main ground wire.

ya, but thoes would make a tick, it might also sound like it is comming from the engine but it could be fuel pump ringing, soem of them do that

i just checked it again and its deffinitly coming from the driver side wheel well area..in the engine bay..i have know idea ..thanks

My first thought....how is your power steering fluid level?

power steering fluid is good..i listened more closely and the sound is coming from underneath the fuse boxes

Sounds to me like it may be one of the relays in the fuse box. (fuse boxes have both fuses and relays in them nowdayz) They can buzz but still function properly. Pull em out 1 by 1 while buzzing or feel them.
