Anyone Seen this New-gen Firebird??!!

I came accross this link at Trans-Am country. Sorry if this has already been posted. But i did a search and found nothing. This kevin Morgan guy did a VERY NICE job of making the true sister car to the Camaro based off the brand new one. I hope GM sees this and takes it into account after the reaction of the new Camaro truley is known when released!!

Re: Anyone Seen this New-gen Firebird??!!

^^thats fine to think that. But until the idea is for sure squashed after the release of the new Camaro, I will dream of this car. It seems like its at least being "thought about" if you refer to my post in the "will pontiac follow with an 08 firebird" thread!

DO you even like the looks?? I mean you just made a 1 line general opinionated comment and that's it!!

Re: Anyone Seen this New-gen Firebird??!!

If it wasn't 100% the concept Camaro...it would be better. It is the same car badged differently.

The 4th gen Trans Am stood out from the 4th gen Camaro a TON more than this one does the concept Camaro.

That said...it looks mean.
But GM has retired the "Firebird" namesake. Which includes Trans Am. It isn't coming back.
Do I wish GM wouldn't have done that....of course.

Re: Anyone Seen this New-gen Firebird??!!

yeah, one could only assume there would be enough difference between the 2 just like the 4th generation (retired names aside) .

Re: Anyone Seen this New-gen Firebird??!!

it looks good, but i think it needs more gen 1 firebird styling because origonally i thought pontiac did a good job differenciating the 2, it look far to close to the camaro. heres what i mean

67 firebird notice the hood and bumper (yes the rest looks close to a camaro but still...)

67 camaro again notice the front end
if pontiac retros firebird it needs to be more like 67 ( much like how dodge picked a challenger year and revamped the year)

Re: Anyone Seen this New-gen Firebird??!!

Car looks awesome, The grill looks a ton better than the on they used on the camaro but that was the only thing on the new concept camaro I didn't love. I Think they should do flip up head lights on the concept but I agree with Mr.Luos. I highly doubt they will come out with a New Pontiac F-body but I will not put it in the realm of being impossible. I kinda am in the middle of wanting a new one and kinda thinking that it would probably help my car resale value wise if they retired it but I am leaning more towards wanting a new Firebird/trans am or whatever label they put on it.

yep, thats what the original post in this thread says!!

They guy who did it is a member of the trans-am country website. He did just take the new Camaro design and change it up. Mainly the front bumber and hood, just like GM did with the late sixties models that a guy already brought up in this thread.
