gsr vs mr

From a couple of my friends they said it would be pointless to buy an MR if you was still gon hook up and tune your evo. They said just buy the gsr its cheaper the only thing the mr have is the 6 speed. What you guys think would be the better car to get?

With the MR you get the 6-speed, the excellent HID head lights, forged BBS wheels, better shocks, aerodyamic aides on the roof and the cf rear wing. I might be missing a few other things.

I think the MR and the RS have the lighter aluminum roof also.

The RS also strips the power windows, power door locks, sound isolation material, the excellent EBD ABS brakes and the rear wing to save weight and $.

Re: gsr vs mr

IMHO, I would recommend the EVO or the EVO MR for street use and the RS for the track.
