Just to let anyone know, I ran a GSR 3 times, beat him and finally got to run a RSX TypeS and beat him by like a good car length. He claims that he messed up by letting it redline to much. So he said that if he would have done it on time he probably would have had me. I said to him that even if you would have done it, I doubt you would have won. I was pulling on him the entire race. He had me a little off the start but then when once I hit second, that's when I pulled on him hard and just passed him and pulled on him the whole time. One of the guys told me that when I hit 2nd it looked like I had squeezed. Does anyone know the best way to launch without so much spin out. I launch at about 2000 rpms or should I just feather it out? Hope you guys can help out.:alien:

Thats awsome. I love racing cars that are similar in performace.
I raced an acura rsx type-s with an exhaust system and beat him twice. FIrst time come from behind and second time had him the hole time got him by almoost a car length. ANd my spec v is all stock. Soon hopefully getting intake and exhaust.

Good to see that someone else raced one. The one I ran was all stock and all I have is an AEM intake. Just waiting on NISMO and all the other big dawgs to start producing stuff for our cars and stop concentrating so much on the the TypeS. Peace:alien:

Did anyone ever lose to an acura rsx type-s. I thought those cars are suppose to be fast.

And whats up with road and track sayin the car 0-60 is 7.4, motor trend said 6.9 and most people i no run like a 6.7. I think road and track was inaccurate.

that is so freakin sweet. i've never run a rsx type s before. but i figured those things would waste us. they got us on horse, but we got them on torque, big time. thats so sweet. koo, i'm gonna race some now.

I'm gonna be running him again this weekend, so that once and for all he will be satisfied, if I can I will try and use my girls digital camera and download it for you guys. Speedalot, if you think about, why would you think that car would waste us. Like you said, 200hp,142lbs torque vs. 180hp,180lbs of torque. Either way it's gonna be close no matter who wins. But in this case it looks like our cars win.

Yeh first time i raced it I was nervous cause I knew it would be a close one. But when I tried guess the larger amount of torque beat the larger amount of horsepower.

Oh man that would be great if u could video tape it and get it on hear. I want to see you beat him, it's defferent when your not in the car. Please try and do that.l

If he shows up Friday or Saturday I am gonna deffinately try and get it for you guys. So you raced one as well huh? I think that is gonna be one of the closest race's that we come by. Meaning Stock car vs. Stock car. I'm trying to get a few cars out of the way whether I win or lose......

Yeh I'm pretty sure you'll beat all of them, but they'll be very close. I wanna get that new Tiburon there suppose to be quick but I think we beat them too.

Once I get some parts I'm gonna try for a Subaru WRX and a Porsche Boxster. That will be fun

i wouldn't recomend the new Tiburon.. my friend jus got one..and she barely bumped into town car.. and her $hit was smashed.. like 8g's in damage.... the car didn't even have 200 miles on the OD yet. it's got a little kick.. but really soft shell....:smoker2:

Make no mistake, those new Tiburons are infact pretty quick. I mean I didn't run one from a stop. But one Friday I was behind one and he knew that I wanted some of that because when I got out the this turn on the highway he punched it but I had to wait a few seconds because this truck came out in front of me. I when caught up to him he tried to punch it again I caught him and passed him but not that easily. I believe those cars come with a 180hp-V6.

i think we got the new tiburons....they got 180 hp while we have 175 hp, the thing is that the tiburons weighs more, it weighs a little bit over 3k and the se-r weight a lil over 2.7k....it'll probably take us off the line tho because of their v6 power

supposedly the new gti would beat us too. stock they are supposed to run .2 better in the 1/4. but i guess when you're that close in times its just on weight advantage and who's the better driver.
