airbag cluster light

airbag cluster light came on a few week ago, the car has not had a bump, can any help to cure this problem

Check the code just to be sure but I bet it's the passenger seat mat sensor. This is a very sensitive part that if someone kneels on the seat can break the sensor causing the airbag light to turn on. I just replaced mine two weeks ago. The dealer was asking $400 to replaced it. I did it myself. The part cost about $100. Of course you need to reset tool to reset the light. I have the Peake SRS reset tool. Good Luck! One other thing, I saw from another BMW board some kind of a work around, like putting resistor or whatever. I just went to buy the part just to be safe.
