Which Tranny Do I have?

how do you Tell if you have a 4L60e or a 4L80e?? Is it written on the tranny somewhere?? I Know that the 4L60e comes standard on a 5.3L but I just want to check to make sure

Do you have a 1500 with a 5.3L and an automatic tranny? You have a 4L60e

You have the 4l60e up to a 6.0.If it a GM fullsize truck has the 8.1 or the 6.6 Duramax Diesel,it has the 5 speed Allison automatic in it

Go to your glove box and get the RPO code that is probably M32... Tell us what it is....
