Ticking noise coming from both heads
My friend has had his 300 for 3 months now. It is a 2005 Chrysler 300 AWD w/ Navigation and the 3.5L engine.
I had my friend pop his hood so that I could look at it. We both noticed a ticking coming from the heads. Is the ticking normal or are the valves or rockers in a position that is bad for the engine? Please let me know asap because I would rather not see my friend's 300 have problems. Thank you to all who reply. -Brian

Re: Ticking noise coming from both heads
how loud is the ticking? Could just be the injectors firing....

Re: Ticking noise coming from both heads
The ticking isn't noticable when the hood is closed. When you open it the hood you can hear it. I guess it could be the injectors...
Thanks for the help -Brian
