Top Gear

Sorry if this is a re-post. WHAT HAPPENED TO TOP GEAR IN THE US? It was my favorite show, I watched it religiously every wednesday night, then one day, "Tonight on discovery channel, We took a dozen cripples and dumped them in the middle of the amazon, watch life without wheelchair accesibility." I know sometimes with these foreign shows, they do a test market and then put the show on full time in a year or two, is this what happened to Top Gear? Is there someone we can write to to get it back? It seemed really popular here on AF, I knew people that didn't even like cars that watched it. Please can someone help me find the truth!

i know they were testing the idea of bringing top gear back to america. They were going to run edit mix and match of there best of last year. I saw one on today on the science channel. Rumor had it though they were going to make a US verions of the show with all know anoucers and more american focused cars?? Persoanlly give me James,Richard, and jermany any day of the week.

actually, i hear that normal top gear won't be back, and they'll be bringing a Top Gear USA version, with american hosts, boasting american cars, and making fun of foreign cars.
i love some domestics, but c'mon. that just sounds stupid as shit.

Yea, the Top Gear U.S. version is a strong rumor. It will undoubtedly fail. We don't have any cool places to drive to and from and race car vs train like they can from Italy to London. I mean come on.
