Talking 96 Explorer 4.0 head removal...

I'm getting ready to replace both headgaskets on my 96 4.0 Explorer. Got antifreeze dribbling down both sides...seems I'm a victim of those gaskets that deteriorate. (130 k on engine, guess I can't complain)
I've replaced heads plenty of times, but this is my first time with this particular engine. Can anyone give advice on any specific problem I may run into? I know some cars and some engines have little tricks to them.
Perhaps someone knows this...How big of a Torx socket will I need? I don't have anything in my toolbox quite as big as some of the bolts I've seen under the hood.
I appreciate any input you guys can give...

If its not getting into the oil, have you tried barrs leak or other type leak stopper? This is used by GM at the factory on their aluminum leak problems.

It seems I read somewhere about newer explorers using it also.

Just a thought, much easier than pulling the heads. Also, do a google search on changing aluminum heads, I also remember finding some info on alum heads that was different than cast iron heads.

I had a simalar problem with a GM car and fixed it with radiator stop leak bought at walmart. Car had 120k miles, and it now has near 200K. No more leaks.

Actually I've alread tried the stop leak and it worked for awhile. At the time the antifreeze was leaking on the drivers side. The stopleak worked for six months, then the leak resumed. In addition, another leak formed on the passenger side.
The antifreeze isn't getting to the oil, yet, but I intend to beat it to the punch.
