clutch fork and throwout bearing

just getting ready to install another transmission into my 86 b2000. how does the clutch fork attach to the throwout bearing? is there a wire clip or connector or does it just slip onto the throwout bearing without any clips. thanks. edsel...

Re: clutch fork and throwout bearing

The end of the fork slips round the throw out bearing then there is a little wire clip that allows it to lock onto the ball inside the bell housing.
