96 JGC interior light wont go out when car is off

I have a 96 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and all of a sudden the interior lights won't turn off when I turn off the car. I have checked the dimmer switch and it isn't it. The lights do turn off if I turn the key all the way back. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

In mine you can push the light lens like a switch to turn it on or off. And it will go on even if the vehicle is off.

If none of that works, just pull the fuse out of the cluster so it does not wear out the battery. Other than that im not real sure how to get it off.
