Tie-Rod end
Hi, I have a 1997 GP GT 3800 109,800. I jacked up the front end today to check for any play in the tires. "9 o-clock, 3 o-clock" My passenger side front tire is good w/no play what-so-ever. The driver side has some play, I'm guessing around an eighth of an Inch. My question is how much play is too much before I think about replacing this tie-rod, or is any play an indicator to replace. Thanks in advance for any info.

Re: Tie-Rod end
an 1/8 inch is too much. If you grab the tie rod, and have any in/out or up/down play, it's time to replace the tie rod. The only allowable play is in a twisting motion.
